Wow, Croatia and Malta have brought so many unexpected adventures and unforgettable memories. Let me take you back to what I have done!

CROATIA — The Old City of Dubrovnik brought many fun walks down the small alleyways and familiar faces of my ship friends (seriously, it felt like we took over the area!). In Dubrovnik, I had my first Field Class, a required class trip that is all planned by SAS. Together, we went to a war museum (to see how the Croatian War of Independence affected Dubrovnik) and a currently closed-for-the-season art gallery (it had photos of both the Croatian War and of refugees). These museums were not only informational but extremely sobering. And I can’t forget to mention cliff jumping into the Adriatic Sea — so much fun!

Highlights: Game of Thrones tour, cliff jumping, & the Old City Walls.

MALTA — Although Malta is a small island, it is packed with things to do and places to explore. Yesterday, a group and I went zip lining over the ocean (and went upside down and Superman-style!). Yesterday, I explored the capital city of Valletta by myself and got lost in the maze of cafés and street vendors that opened up just for St. Pauls' day. Today I just SCUBA dove and am now stealing some wifi from the Starbucks Reserve in Valletta.

Highlights: Ziplining, the local cuisine, & my SCUBA dive.

Onboard Honors…

Durning our Cyprus to Croatia voyage, I was chosen as the first voyager to take over the SAS Instagram Story on the 129th voyage! You can check it out on the SAS’ Instagram highlight entitled “Voyagers.”

I have also been chosen to be one of the Pre-Port Hosts onboard. Pre-Port is a mandatory ship meeting of all voyagers, staculty (staff and faculty), and Life Long Learners (the adults onboard) to go over safety information about each port. I have been able to change Pre-Port into “Pre-Port Pre-Party” and make it more fun for myself and voyagers alike. It has also brought some name recognition to me & it is so fun to be recognized while onboard and ashore!

More Updates to come!
